I was brought up in Ulverston and now live in Dalton with my partner
Janice.
I am a freelance
musician and community artist and have been doing this for 20
years. I have worked with thousands of members of the community
doing this, making music, animations, comics, films and much more.
It is a very rewarding way to make a living, if quite different
from my first job after leaving school in the
shipyard.
I became a Councillor
as an extension of my role as a community artist, to help members
of the community and to do my bit for the local area. I do all this
around being an unpaid carer for Janice who has
arthritis.
